LOTD ft. Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage & Hourglass Ambient Powder
Those of you who follow me on Instagram would know that I acquired my first Tom Ford eyeshadow palette about a month ago but I haven’t gotten down to featuring it here yet! Yikes!! I have been using it so much since I got it but I just haven’t had the time in the mornings to snap a selfie with it.. not to mention, lighting in the morning is pretty crap and tends to wash all the colour out. Bummer.. else it would have been so easy.
In this look, I will show you how you can the Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage Eyeshadow Palette for the brows and the Hourglass Ambient Powders for the eyes. I have a full review of the Hourglass Ambient Powders here.
For the brows, I mixed in the 2 matte brown shades from the TF Cocoa Mirage palette and use an angled brush to fill in the brows. I really love how the colour complements my brows perfectly and fills in all the gaps that have been creeping out from within the brows.
For the eyes, I wanted to create a look to showcase my THREE eyeliners so I didn’t want colours on the eyelids to compete with the eyeliner. However, I did not want to go without any colour as that would look incomplete. I applied a wash of Hourglass Ambient Powder in Radiant Light all over the eyelids with my new Chikuhodo brush that Sophia helped pick up when she was in Japan. OMG that brush is so lovely!!! Will review in a later post. I then used a little Hourglass Dim Light to highlight the brow bone. I picked Dim Light over Incandescent because I wanted it slightly more muted but yet still able to lift the brow bone.
